Hi I’m Charlotte, a paediatric intensive care nurse and mum of two. I’ve spent years caring for critically unwell children and supporting families through high-pressure emergency situations.

As a mum, I’ve also faced emergencies with my own little ones. I know how quickly things can change, how emotional those moments are, and how much children rely on their parents to be their first responder. That lived experience shapes how I teach. My focus is always on calm, practical learning that makes sense in the moment and helps parents feel capable, not overwhelmed.

Hi I’m Teresa, a paediatric intensive care nurse with a strong background in emergency care and clinical education. I also currently work as a Patient at Risk nurse specialist.

Teaching has always been a core part of my work. Whether I’m supporting junior nurses in the ICU or teaching parents in our courses, I’ve seen how clear, practical learning helps people stay calm and confident when things feel stressful. That experience shapes how I teach and how I support families to respond when it matters most.
